Home
Born and raised in a sea of black and gold, Pittsburgh, PA, was home for many years. Although it was the formative years, that I spent in the mountain home of West Virginia, that spurred my love for the outdoors and nature. The time that I spent in the U.S. Air Force developed my love for our country. From the North to the South and the East to the West, I have seen a lot of this great country, its wonderful sights, and people. I met and married Brett in Texas, and we have been together for thirty three years. He is my best friend and brings me joy, laughter, and love. Being a mom has taught me more about life and God than anything else, other than the Bible itself. Our four wonderful children are now adults, and we praise God that we did it! We survived parenthood of littles and teens and are empty nesters now. When I was a child and in school, Language Arts and History were the subjects that I enjoyed the most, along with Art class and Anatomy class. PE was definitely not my strongest subject! However, writing is something that has stayed with me, and I truly enjoy doing. A beautiful journey has taken place but not just from traveling across the country. It is a journey of Faith, that goes on still to this day. God helped me to read the Bible and then journal my thoughts. He ministered to me through His Word and helped me to understand it and also work out my feelings, about my past. As my thoughts overflowed onto the pages, I desired to write more. I wish to write stories that are showered in prayer, so that, others may find hope in Jesus. Jesus is the reason for anything good that has ever happened in my life. He is my Salvation, my teacher, my friend but most of all my Lord.
